Goals

· To make the University of Maryland the go-to place for entrepreneurship, in the region and nationally.

·To promote sharing of knowledge and best practices among the various University of Maryland organizations and programs engaging in entrepreneurship activities.

·To present a unified image into the entrepreneurship activities of the University of Maryland for internal and external audiences.

·To encourage improved collaboration and synergism to enhance and expand diverse entrepreneurship programs and resources at the University of Maryland.

·To serve as a repository of resources, activities and programs related to entrepreneurship in the region.

Activities

Bi-monthly meetings: at least one representative of each network member will attend each meeting, which will be structured as follows:
Each network member will have an opportunity to present a brief update of their program/organization, including recent announcements, pending projects, updated success statistics, specific opportunities for collaboration and upcoming events. At each meeting there will be discussion regarding "outreach" efforts -- to spread the word about entrepreneurship at the University of Maryland.

All meetings will be preceded or followed by a brief networking session among the attendees.

The location of the meetings will rotate among the offices of network participants.

External speakers will be invited to discuss entrepreneurship topics with network members.
